Premios Hugo 2015

Un poco tarde pero aquí os dejo la lista de ganadores de los Premio Hugo 2015 los cuales este año han estado mas en boca de todos por la agria polémica entre escritores que por los premios en si, una polémica que después de estar latente un par de años finalmente acabo estallando en este cuando un grupo de escritores, digamos que de derechones estilo yanqui, presento una lista completa de nominados en la que lo importaba era la idea política y religiosa e incluso el sexo del autor mas que la calidad de su obra. Esto como podéis suponer genero una agria polémica que finalmente ha supuesto que haya varias categorías sin ganadores (cosa que por lo visto no pasaba desde hacia varios años) y una mala publicidad para unos premios un tanto devaluados en los últimos años.

En cuanto a la novela premiada se esta hablando muy bien de ella y es una de las que tengo apuntadas para comprar en cuanto se traduzca al español. (Reseña)

Fijaos en el master, me parece genial el tio... bueno y el Vin Diesel, impresionante...

La Cabaña en el Bosque

Llego un poco tarde que esta película es de 2012 pero fallo mio por no haberlo hecho antes porque es realmente cojonuda. Lo que en un principio parece la típica peli de genero Slasher (adolescentes salidos aislados, perseguidos y finalmente asesinados por monstruo/psicópata/lo que sea ) pronto se convierte en.... otra cosa que no puedo contar porque os quitaría toda la gracia. Pero puedo deciros que es realmente sorprendente, y ademas tiene unos cuantos detalles muy buenos entre ellos como intenta explicar porque los típicos protagonistas de estas películas son tan absurdamente gilipollas (El mítico voy a por una cerveza/a fumar un porro/a follar al sótano, y otro que me gusto mucho es un momento muy nihilista que me trajo buenos recuerdos de cierta obra del maestro Carpenter  (Aqui!)

Pero dejándonos de tonterías recomendaros muy mucho esta película que creo que la disfrutareis mas si sois conocedores del genero, Y dejaros un par de reseñas mas que casi mejor os la leéis después de ver la película.

Horas de oscuridad

I´m so bored with the USA o Pocos y Mal avenidos...

Esto es una pequeña disquisición por mi parte, sin intención de meterme en vereda ni tomar parte activa en las Civil Wars que he visto que aqueja nuestro pequeñísimo mundo.

No voy a hablar de rol.

Voy a hablar de transigencia. Vamos a ver. Cualquier actividad lúdica (si, los juegos de rol no son una religión ni una forma de vida aunque a veces nos lo tomemos como tal) es lícita siempre y cuando cause divertimiento al que la practica y nadie salga dañado en el asunto. ¿Acaso es más lícito jugar a D&D que a Runequest? Creo que todos estamos de acuerdo en que no. ¿Es más lícito jugar en Menzoberranzan que en La montaña del Penacho Blanco? No.

El que no juegue a Ars Mágica gesticulando se las verá conmigo!!!

Pues entonces digo yo: ¿Realmente no hay cosas más interesantes de las que hablar en nuestro mundillo que ponerse como unos modernos Stalin o Pol Pot y decir que "o estás conmigo o contra mí"...?
Vaya. Pues si la respuesta es no, apaga y vámonos. Y si es positiva, como espero que vuesas mercedes piensen, pues adelante. Pasad de este post y centraos en lo que realmente importa: Jugad y pasadlo bien. Ya sea mazmorreando o buscando la metaliteratura y la representación máxima de tu personaje...o ambas, que es lo que hago yo. Porque cuando quiero comer callos, como callos y cuando me apetece el sushi, pues también. Y me gustan ambos...en su momento. Y el día que decida que me gustan más los callos que el sushi y que no voy a volver a probar el último, pues no me hace falta vilipendiar el sushi ni matar al japonés que me lo preparaba...
